In this video, the first of nine, the concept of practicing spiritual disciplines is presented. John Ortberg and Richard J. Foster talk about how to walk with God in all contexts of life. Common myths are dispelled, and the idea of spiritual disciples as a means of grace is presented.
We learn that, rather than attempting to master these disciplines, we practice them as training for our spiritual lives, and the end goal is to be mastered by God.
