Propitiation is the setting straight of a wrongdoing against a perfect God. It's a humbling thing to wipe the slate clean, admit the wrong, and come to forgiveness. Yet, leaving our dirty, disheveled, tear-soaked rags at the foot of the cross is the ultimate homage to the God that recognizes the face of sorrow and shame. Music by Tim Hughes.
