Finding a trustworthy ministry is difficult. Good Measure International has an article on that topic called "How to choose a ministry to support" and a free booklet. (http://www.goodmeasure.org) Hope that helps.

Very well done and persuasive, but there is a serious flaw. Where is the avenue, the structure for addressing this condition? Who is willing to distribute help, without skimming a big portion from the donations? Are the charities serving themselves first?

In response to Joseph Wong; it is our responsibility to find charities that manage their funds with integrity. The video raises the question, we each have the responsibility to respond and direct our giving appropriately. As a guide, any charity that uses more than 20% of funds for admin and fundraising needs to give good reasons. If they claim that all funds go to the projects and nothing to admin then look for hidden admin costs in the project funding. No-one can run a project without admin costs. This info should be accessible on their website or literature. If it isn't, find another charity.
