The Apostle's Creed was developed between the third and fourth centuries A.D. It is one of the most significant confessions of faith in the history of the church. The creed provides an excellent summary of the doctrinal teachings of Scripture.

Jesus Christ never descended into Hell! He only ascended up to Heaven.

A proper understanding of what the early fathers meant by "descended into hell" will help Ruth not get so upset!

good job but what happened to "he descended into Hell", I know that it was one of the last articles to be added but I think it should still be apart of the creed.
